Motorcycling and the Passeier Valley simply belong together. Passionate bikers and South Tyrolean connoisseurs know that. Numerous passes. Hairpins. Mountain roads. Serpentines. Breathtaking landscapes. Unique panoramas. And lots of like-minded people who appreciate and love the Passeier Valley as a motorcycle Eldorado.
Our Gasthof Peter in St. Leonhard in Passeier is the ideal starting point for unforgettable tours. For example a tour to the Timmelsjoch Ridge or to the Jaufenpass. More information can be found below!
The Timmelsjoch Ridge
1,800 meters of altitude. Spread over 30 kilometres of road.
This is the Timmelsjoch Ridge, which starts directly in St. Leonhard in Passeier. The border ridge, which connects the Austrian Ötztal Valley with the South Tyrolean Passeier Valley, is one of the highest passable ridges in Europe. That alone is a fact that makes the hearts of motorcycle freaks beat faster. The incomparabile panorama does the rest.
The Jaufenpass mountain pass
The Jaufenpass motorcycle tour is the tour par excellence.
Why? Because it skilfully combines a breathtaking backdrop, tight hairpins and idyllic rest stops. The route connects the Passeier Valley with the Eisack Valley for about 200 kilometres. We will start again in St. Leonhard in Passeier; then we will climb over 31 kilometres up to the Jaufenpass mountain pass. The view of the surrounding peaks and mountain tops is simply priceless.
